Program Review & Development

BCI provides organizations with expertise in the area of policy development and program review. Examples include: the development of policies related to substance abuse for the City of Burnaby, Critical Incident Response protocols for the Corporation of Delta, and refocusing the delivery of counselling services in a post-secondary institution. The policy development not only involved a consultative process with the unions and management of the organizations, it also included the training of both senior and front line managers, as well as union stewards.

Appointments are available within 2-3 days.
Conveniently located counsellor offices.
Counsellors are minimum Masters-level, with at least 5 years experience.

BCI tailors its programs to meet the varying needs of different companies. We offer not only per-capita (one cost per employee), but also fee-for-service (only hours used are charged) & flat fee programs (yearly budget). Please contact us for more information.

Mediation & Conflict Resolution

Conducted by trained professionals, these interventions, involving either a number of individuals or entire workplace unit, assist in the resolution of difficulties between coworkers or workers and supervisors.

Critical Incident Response

BCI has a province-wide network of trained professionals providing critical incident response services and grief debriefings. Services are available on a group and individual basis.
